39 Days!

Holden,

Just looked at the pregnancy ticker and it says 39 days until your due date. 39 days! We are in one-month territory. This is really just about to happen. We are going to see your perfect little face, watch you take your first breaths, red and angry, pumping your fists. I just can't believe it is happening so soon. That it is happening at all! That Daddy and I created this separate entity who is going to have opinions on what music is good, who may or may not like green beans, who will call us Mommy and Daddy and carve out an entire independent existence one day.

It really blows my mind.
